Organic Houjicha

Originating around 1920, houjicha leaves are a deep brown colour, and often have a flakey appearance. It brews dark brown, and can have a Smokey character. The aroma of houjicha can be remarkably similar to the aroma of coffee, although it does have a different milder flavour. The tea originated from and is located from Japan. 

Brew 2.5g (1 Heaped Teaspoon)
for 3 Minutes at 100°C
